Joe Hyder Obituary

Joseph Glen “Joe” Hyder, 57, of Asheville, NC, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at his residence.

Joe was born in Asheville on November 23, 1962, to the late Harry Joseph Hyder and Betty Ann Revis. He was a graduate of A.C. Reynolds High School and was a plumber with Anchor Plumping. He was a collector of many things and enjoyed spending time outdoors. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Joe is survived by his wife of ten years, Rebecca Harrell Hyder of Asheville; a step daughter, Jennifer Peek; a step son, Carroll Harrell, both of Leicester, NC; a brother, Harry Dale Hyder; a sister, Cindy Runion, both of Asheville; two grandsons, Austin Peek and Jayden Harrell; and two granddaughters, Brynn Harrell and Heartly Harrell, all of Leicester.
