John Tomczak Obituary

John Christopher Tomczak, aged 77, of Murphy, NC, passed away June 17, 2024.

John was born February 18, 1947, in Buffalo, NY, to the late Edward and Mary Joan Tomczak. He was a member of the US Army during the Vietnam War. John went to school at Nova University in Miami, FL, where he received a Bachelor of Engineering and later worked as a Civil Engineer.

John is survived by his loving wife of 12 years, Mirna Salazar; children, John Charles Tomczak of Port St. Lucie, FL, Christopher (Carolyn) Tomczak of Murphy, NC, Karina (Esteban) Perez of Miramar, FL, Daniel Tomczak of Miami, FL, and Nicholas (Amylin) Tomczak of Richlands, NC; siblings, Rosemary DeCampus, Mary Vinson, and George Tomczak; and grandchildren, Karina Garced and Elise Perez of Miami, Fl, Nataly Tomczak and Emily Tomczak of Murphy, NC, Tristan Tomczak and Sophia Tomczak of Port St. Lucie, FL, Evalin Tomczak and Bradley Tomczak of Richlands, NC.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
