John Logan, 60, died Saturday, September 11th, 2021 at Mission Memorial Hospital in Asheville, NC.
John was born in Aberdeen, MS to GL and Cammie Carlile on September 6th, 1961. He spent most of his life in Aberdeen and had many family and friends throughout Monroe County.
He was preceded in death by his beloved cousin, Vance Sanders and his grandmother Vera Logan.
He is survived by his wife Shanette of Asheville; his daughter Ava of Steens, MS; his sons Jake (Hannah) of Columbus, MS; Patrick (Rebekah) and David (Autumn) of Asheville.
He was “Big John” to his grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Aleesa and Sam; his nieces Mia and Mary and his goddaughter Soviern.
The services are private to the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you take a kid fishing. John loved his family and knew the importance of making special memories with them as time here is short.
The family would like to thank the staff of Mission Memorial Hospital especially Taylor, Renee and Justin, his ICU nurses and Dr. Courtney Sommer.
