Joseph Clark Bell, Jr.

            Joseph Clark Bell Jr of Asheville, North Carolina, passed Thursday, April 27, 2023, at the age of eighty-six. He was born to the late Joseph Bell and Lorraine Seeley in Louisville, Kentucky, on July 14, 1936.

            Joseph graduated with a Bachelor degree from University of Louisville. He also lived previously in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where he received his Masters from University of Michigan. Joseph served in the United States Air Force Reserves. He was a boatbuilder, inventor, and photographer, and worked in hardware sales at Citizens Hardware. He was the consummate handyman. In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by a brother, Nathaniel Bell.

            He is survived by Wendy Bell, to whom he was married sixty years; children, Clark Bell of Asheville, and Morgan Rudisill of Edneyville, North Carolina; his sister, Edith Lyon of Syria, Virginia; and grandchildren, Laurel and Gracie Rudisill of Edneyville, and Paige Bell of Asheville.
