Joseph Buxton Morgan

            Joseph Buxton “Joe” Morgan of Hendersonville, North Carolina, died April 5, 2021, at the age of forty-nine.

            Joe was born October 5, 1971, to the late Shawn Davis McWhirt and Vernon Lee Morgan at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia. He graduated from Cox High School in Virginia Beach, and spent time living in Norfolk, Virginia and Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to North Carolina. He was a fisherman, wood worker and carpenter. Joe loved all dogs (his household had five total).

            Joe is survived his step-father, Terry McWhirt (Deborah) of Hendersonville, North Carolina; daughters, Elizabeth and Jessica Eckert; brother, Darrell Morgan of Chula Vista, California, and sister, Misty LoMonaco (Salvatore) of Hendersonville, North Carolina; cousin, Kevin Johnson, of Norfolk, Virginia; and nieces and nephews Devon Pratte of Norfolk, Virginia, Isabella LoMonaco of Hendersonville, North Carolina, and Gaige and Emilee Morgan both of Chula Vista, California.
