Joyce Pennell Obituary

Joyce Gail Capps Pennell, aged 62, of Asheville, NC, passed away February 13, 2025.

Joyce was born March 2, 1962, in Hinsdale, IL, to the late Ted Capps and Louise Justus.

Joyce is survived by her loving husband, William Pennell of the home; siblings, Carol (Tim) Smith of Hendersonville, NC, and Cathy (David) Edney of Hendersonville, NC; nieces and nephew, Daniel (Sara) Smith of Hendersonville, NC, Megan (Brady) Williams of Hendersonville, NC, Heather (Jordan) McDaniel of Hendersonville, NC, and Bailey Edney of Hendersonville, NC; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

She loved her husband and family with all her heart and they will miss her dearly.

A service will be held at a later date. At that time, it will be officiated by Tommy Justus.
