Keane Shane Henderson, age 25, of Asheville, NC, passed away unexpectedly, on June 7, 2020 at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1994, in Rapid City, South Dakota, to Nicholas Henderson and Marisol Salazar.
Mr. Henderson was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Asheville. He attended Dover High School in Dover, Delaware and was a member of the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, playing soccer, skate boarding, playing video games and running track.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Charlie Shane Henderson of Asheville; mother, Marisol Salazar of Rapid City, SD; his father, Nicholas Henderson and his step-mother, Amber Dawn Henderson, of Culpeper, VA; a sister, Brittany Henderson of Culpeper, VA; paternal grandparents, Ed and Barb Henderson of Weaverville; and maternal grandmother, Liza Loznika of Florida; uncles, Martin Henderson and his wife Kimberly of Weaverville, NC, and Thomas Lozinka of Rapid City, SD; aunts, Samantha Sutphin and her husband, Johnny, of Troutman, NC and Jacqueline Gillow and her husband Nathan of Greenville, SC, Myla Montas and her husband Paul of Yorktown, VA; cousins, Addison, Brooklyn, Hollyn Henderson and Martin Henderson, Jr., all of Weaverville, Gabrielle McKeithan and Kaitlyn Sutphin, both of Troutman and Ashley Rabbabah of Oklahoma, and Melanie Montas of Virginia Beach, VA.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2020, at 12 O’clock noon, at Temple Baptist Church, 76 Hawkins Lane, Asheville, NC, 28806, conducted by Pastor Patrick Creed III and Pastor Duane Boyer.
