Kenneth Bond Franklin

Kenneth Bond Franklin, age 80, of Marshall, NC passed away on February 21, 2024.  Kenneth was born on November 16, 1943 to the late Hubert and Ollie Robinson Franklin.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Neinhold, Avaleen Franklin, Harvey, Glenn, and Teddy Franklin.  Kenneth is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda Franklin; his children, Cheryl Shelton (Tim), Mark Franklin, and Bonnie Green; his grandchildren, TJ Shelton (Hannah), Caitlin Metz (Jacob), Emma Green, Dakota Baker; his honorary grandchildren who also called him Papaw, Jeffrey Chandley, Skyler Cantrell, and Bailey Davis; his siblings, Rose Lee Sane (Jerry), Sharon Franklin, and Tommie Franklin.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Debi Reid, Sandra Simmons, and Jeffrey Franklin.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at The Church of God at Middle Laurel.  A memorial service will follow the visitation.  The memorial service will be officiated by Sam Adams and Cameron Smith.
