Kim Fredrick Golden

Kim Fredrick Golden, 61, of Asheville, NC, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Born October 7, 1964, in Horry County, SC, he was the son of the late Carl and Pauline Golden.

He attended A.C. Reynolds High School in Asheville, NC, and was the owner and operator of Golden Construction. He enjoyed auto racing and was a Tony Stewart fan.

Surviving are his son, Tyler Golden; stepchildren, D.J. Gregory, Charlene Arena, and Dustin Gregory; siblings, Mary Craig, Danny Golden, Charlie Golden, Tammy Shook, Violet Price, Wendy Golden, David Golden, Valerie Coin, Donna Golden, and Christopher Golden; and granddaughter, Kya Golden.

A funeral will be held at 12 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the chapel of Penland Family Funeral Home, with the family receiving friends for 2 hours after.
