Larry Wallen Obituary

Larry Monroe Wallen, 63 of Leicester, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at his home.

A lifelong resident of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Bobby Eugene Wallen, Sr. and Shirley Arlene Ingle Wallen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Kurt Michael Wallen, brother, Bobby Eugene Wallen, Jr. and sister, Terry Lee Roberson.

Surviving is his partner Carol Maynard, siblings, Curtis Wallen (Alita) of Leicester, Kathy Wallen Cassada (Dale) of Pomaria, SC, Lois Wallen of Candler, as well as numerous nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Freewill Baptist Church, 80 Wise Rd. Candler, NC 28715. Pastor Zachariah Turner will be officiating.
