Laura Lee Smith, age 75, of Asheville, NC passed away on May 24th, 2024 in Asheville, NC. Laura was born in Morganton, NC on August 8th, 1948 to the late Hazel Snipes and Joseph E. Huffman. Laura enjoyed typing short stories on her old electronic typewriter and listening to classical music on CD’s. Laura was “old school” which meant no computers for her.
