Leah Reneè Tanguy

Leah Reneè Tanguy of Waynesville, North Carolina, passed March 6, 2024. Born February 19, 1969, to the late Joan Tanguy and Edward Tanguy in Sarasota, Florida, Leah was fifty-five years old.

Leah was a gardener and enjoyed caring for stray cats. She was a caretaker in her family, and valued time spent with her kids and grandkids as well as with dear friends.

Leah is survived by her daughters, Heather Printz of Waynesville, Morgan Allen of Charlotte, North Carolina, Brooklyn Tanguy (Adrian Ospina) of Sylva, North Carolina, and step-daughter, Nakeisha Smith; brother, Michael Tanguy of Waynesville; grandchildren, Karson and Payten London, Aiyana Printz, and Nazzir Smith; and loved one, Marie “Rita” Smith.
