Leslie Jane (Sanders) Warren

            Leslie Jane Sanders Warren passed November 1, 2021, at home in Candler, North Carolina. She was sixty-eight.

            Leslie was born January 19, 1953, to Barbara Jane Thweatt Sharp and the late Vernon Lee Sharp, Sr., in Biloxi, Mississippi. She earned an Associate of Science in Nursing from AB-Technical Community College and was retired from her work as a nurse at Mission Memorial Hospital. Leslie enjoyed reading, painting, crafts, singing, and shopping with her mother.

            In addition to her father, Leslie was preceded in death by her husband of forty-eight years, Vaughn Warren; brother, Ralph Sharp; and grandson, Jayden Warren.

            She is survived by her mother, Barbara Sharp of Candler, North Carolina; her children, Stephanie Warren of Sevierville, Tennessee, Clifford Warren (Michelle) of Candler, North Carolina, Adam Warren (Mariah) of Hot Springs, North Carolina; siblings, Jennie Edwards of Candler, North Carolina, Brenda McCarson (Roddy) of Gilbert, South Carolina, Celeste “Doshey” McKinney (Rocky), Keith Michael Sharp and Vernon Lee Sharp, Jr., all of Candler, North Carolina, and Bradley Sharp (Sheila) of Mills River, North Carolina; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

                        A service will be held at eleven-thirty the morning of Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Spirit Life Church (39 Pisgah Methodist Church Road, Candler). Allen Winebarger will officiate, and family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at eleven o’clock. Interment at Spirit Life Church will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made by mail to Four Seasons Foundation Hospice/Palliative Care (211 N.
