Levi Fender, 76, of Leicester, passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at his residence.
He was born November 1st 1944, to the late Gaither Fender and Rebecca Tipton Fender.
He was a member of Highland Baptist Church where he served as a superintendent, a teacher and deacon. He loved his church family. He worked for Biltmore Manufacturing, Kellwood, Cranston and retired from I.T.W. He loved his job as a long haul truck driver. He was known as “Big Daddy.”
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ima Jean Wilson; bothers, James (Doris), Charles (FeFe), Harold, and Ted (Faye). They are waiting to see him in Heaven.
He was survived by his wife of 55 years, Joyce Casada Fender; two brothers, Wayne (Jean) of Fletcher and David (Darlene) of Leicester; and one son, Timothy (Shelly) Fender. He was a loving husband and father. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, Shannon (Derrick), Danny (Janet), Lisa, James (Jo Ellen), Ricky, Mickey (Donna), Michael, Angie, Susan, Connie, and Debra.
