Linda Smith Obituary

Linda Jane Spivey Smith of Swannanoa, North Carolina, passed away October 19, 2020. She was sixty-nine.

Linda was a lifelong resident of Buncombe County. She was born to Annie Mae Pruett Spivey and William Aubrey Spivey, and retired from a career at the Biltmore House.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Spivey (Mary Ellen), and her sister, Peggy Pressley (Weldon).

She is survived by siblings David Sr. (Wanda) of Black Mountain, North Carolina, Faye Burnette of Oakley, North Carolina, Janice Banks of Swannanoa, North Carolina, Nancy Hanson (Ken) of Ridgecrest, North Carolina, and David Jr. (Stacey) of Black Mountain, North Carolina.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at six thirty the evening of October 30, 2020, at The Ridge Church of Ridgecrest.
