With hearts full of love and gratitude for a well-lived life, we share the passing of Lowell Schreyer. He went home to be with Jesus on February 20, 2025. Lowell was born in Glen Rock, New Jersey on May 28, 1929, to the late George and Louise Schreyer. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Kathryn Rose Watkins Schreyer. Lowell graduated from Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood, New Jersey, in 1947. He proudly served in the Army during the Korean War. In active duty he worked as a dental technician and switchboard operator. Lowell was fond of his community in Etowah’s Reach, was a member of Horse Shoe First Baptist Church, was adventurous and adored traveling, especially out west, was a gifted piano player, and loved to be with friends. His memory, smile, and sense of humor will be cherished by all who knew him.
