Luther Duane Nix Jr.

Luther Duane Nix Jr., 66, of Asheville, NC passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Born November 21, 1959, he was a son of the late Luther Nix Sr., and Louise Nix of Monroe, GA. He proudly served in the U.S. Army. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Nix. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sons, Samuel Nix and his spouse, Brooke, of Auburn, GA and Scotty Nix of North Carolina; siblings, Kenny Nix and his spouse, Helen, of Monroe, GA, David Nix and his spouse, Tarra, of Atlanta, GA, Darrell Nix and his spouse, Christy, of Social Circle, GA, Daniel Nix of Monroe, GA, Doug Nix and his spouse, Kim, of Stathem, GA, and Adam Nix and his spouse, Haley, of Athens, GA; and grandchildren, Trace Nix and Nevi Nix both of Auburn, GA. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
