Margaret M. Summey

            Margaret M. Summey of Hendersonville, North Carolina, passed July 18, 2021, at the age of seventy-four.

            Margaret was born June 8, 1946, to Lula Hollyfield and Donald Averett in Buncombe County, North Carolina. She graduated from C.D. Owen High School, and was a thirty-year resident of Hendersonville. She was of Christian faith. 

            In addition to her parents, Margaret’s husband, Wallace L. Summey, and brother, Richard W. Averett, preceded her in death. 

            She is survived by her sons, Tony E. Summey of Charleston, South Carolina, and Richard W. Summey of Hendersonville, North Carolina; siblings Fredrick Averett of Palm Bay, Florida, Edward Averett of Morganton, North Carolina, and Charlotte Velez of Black Mountain, North Carolina; and grandson, Josh Summey of Hendersonville, North Carolina
