Margie Ellen Carson

Margie Ellen Carson, 74, of Marion, North Carolina, departed this life on May 19, 2025, at her home in Arden, North Carolina. She was born on July 15, 1950, in Spruce Pine, North Carolina. She was a member of St. Mark's Church of God in Christ in Marion, North Carolina. Margie was employed at St. Joseph Hospital for 38 years as a nurse, where she took care of patients in the Coli ICU. She was also employed at Autumn Care of Marion Assisted Living for 15 years as a nurse on third shift. She was very loving and loved by many. She loved and cared for her Mother, Daughter, Grandchildren, and Family. She never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off her back. She loved to travel. Her favorite places to travel were to the beach, going on cruises, and the Cherokee Casino. In her later years, she enjoyed spending time at Marion Senior Citizen Community Center, where she enjoyed arts and crafts, sewing, and needlepoint. She also enjoyed meeting friends, going on trips, and playing in the Senior Olympic Games, where she won multiple trophies.

She is preceded in death by her Mother And Father, Vernon and Alder Carson; Her Daughter, Chrystal Michelle Williams Carson; great-grandsons, Johnathan Robinson III, and Kenareè Robinson; her Sister, Mary Jane Carson; Brother, Tommy Carson.

Left to Cherish Her Memory is her Grandchildren, Akissi Monique Harris And Christopher Dale Williams Jr.; Great Grandchildren, Tanner Dewayne Lowery, Bailey Shea Williams, Elijah Carter Williams, and Savyn Grace Harris; Nieces, Lisa Carson and Charlet Carson; Nephew, Bobby Foster; Great Nieces And Nephews, Iesha Carson, Orondè Carson, And Jaiden Carson; Great Great Nephew, Javion Carson; Sister, Vestine Regina Boyce; And Brother, Vernon Carson Jr.
