Marion Vance Cathey Jr., 72, of Andrews, NC passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Born August 24, 1952. in Richmond, VA, he was a son of the late Marion and Dorothy Cathey. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion. He worked as a mason most of his life and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and playing guitar. He is preceded in death by brothers, Ralph and David Cathey. He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Preston Morgan. Surviving are his daughter, Tanya Morgan of Chesterfield, VA; siblings, William Cathey of Franklin, NC, and Brenda Pron of Bastrop, LA; 4 nephews, and 3 nieces. No services will be held at this time. He was loved by his family and was blessed with a wonderful and beautiful daughter.
