Mark Olinger

            Mark Olinger, age 60, passed Monday, April 26, 2021, at his home in Asheville, North Carolina.

            Mark was born December 23, 1960, to M’Della Williams Knight and Murrell Olinger in Middletown, Ohio.

            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Justin Olinger.

            Mark is survived by Barbara Faye Flynn Olinger, to whom he was married twenty-nine years; son, Jarrett Olinger; siblings Allen Olinger (Linda) of Las Vegas, Nevada, Melissa Marlowe of Marion, North Carolina, Cella Taylor (Alan) of Black Mountain, North Carolina, Bryan Olinger (Sherry) of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, Belinda Fitzgerald of Marion, North Carolina, sister-in-law Sonya Flynn (Dathan Owens) of Swannanoa, North Carolina, and brother-in-law Michael Flynn of Black Mountain, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews, including special niece Brandi Newell (Glenn) of Morganton, North Carolina.

            A Celebration of Life will be held the afternoon of Monday, May 3, 2021, from four to seven o’clock, at Swannanoa Church of God (199 Wilson Avenue, Swannanoa, North Carolina). Supporting donations may be sent to Barbara Olinger (PO Box 155, Enka, North Carolina 28728-0155).
