Marshell Rathbone Obituary

Marshell Malee Burrell Rathbone, 56, of Asheville, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, at Care Partners Solace Center in Asheville. Born March 29, 1969, in Asheville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Leeman Cecil Burrell Sr. and Joyce Brenda Rice Burrell. She was a graduate of Enka High School. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandmother, Mary Irene Dowdle; and nieces, Kelly Elizabeth Burrell and Chelsey Ann Jones. Surviving are her children, Tonaeka Marie Jones, Tony Andrews Jones, and Nicholas Lee Metcalf; and siblings, Leeman Cecil Burrell Jr., of Asheville, NC, and Elvia Irene Burrell Gomez of Candler, NC. No formal services will be held.
