Matthew Jolley Obituary

Matthew Franklin Jolley passed away on November 4, 2020 in Asheville, North Carolina. His struggles are over and now he is at peace. Matthew is survived by his mother Rhonda Whicker Jolley of Winston-Salem, his father and step-mother, Frank and Sherry Jolley of Winston-Salem, his step-brother Nick Siano of Wilmington, his step-sister Samantha Siano of Raleigh, and his paternal grandmother Violet Jolley. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Osee Jolley of Winston-Salem, his sister Brandy Whicker of Winston-Salem, and his maternal grandparents Jay and Beatrice Whicker.

Matthew’s life was too short, but all who knew him will remember his kind heart and caring nature. He loved the outdoors and was happiest with a fishing rod in his hand and a dog by his side. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Because, if he could, Matthew would have given every shelter dog a home, in lieu of flowers the family asks you make donations to AARF of Winston-Salem, www.aarfws.org.
