Matthew Rich, 38, of Weaverville, NC, passed away on May 17, 2025, in Asheville, NC. He was born on May 10, 198,7, in Asheville, NC, to the late Wade Howell(2021) and Michelle Loux of Weaverville, NC.

In addition to his father, Matthew was preceded in death by his grandparents, Evelyn Rich, James Carol Rich; his aunt, Regina Capps; and his cousin, Brandie Dobbins.

Matthew enjoyed politics.

In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by Ronda Burris(Kevin), Kimberly Ponder(Rodney), Brinson Ponder, and Arial Arrington.
