Michael Weaver Fox

Michael Weaver Fox, aged 71, of Asheville, NC, passed May 30, 2023.

Michael was born August 6, 1951, to the late Forrest Fox and June Fox. He was a Master Mechanic specializing in small engine repair and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Michael loved Jesus Christ, his family and racing. He enjoyed watching birds out the picture window, westerns, home steading shows, and any show with cars. Michael loved music, Lauren Alaina and Luke Combs were his two favorites. He loved going to car shows, the Rod Run and a good laugh, so much so that we’ve decided to honor him with a last ride down Patton Ave followed by a Cruise In style visitation. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Tracy Hockenbury (George) of Candler, NC; siblings, Steve Fox (Donna) of Asheville, NC, Christon Fox of Asheville, NC, Kerry Fox of Asheville, NC and Beverly Hughes (Phillip) of Asheville, NC; grandson, Sean Hockenbury of Candler, NC; 8 nieces and nephews; and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews.

Details of the service are as follows. 

A Memorial Service will be held June 17, 2023 beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Trinity Baptist Church 216 Shelburn rd. Asheville, N.C. 28806. Immediately followed by a memorial drive-The Last Cruise to Patton Ave, ending with the Cruise In visitation in the parking lot back at Trinity Baptist Church approximately 2:30 p.m.
