Michael David Sparks, fifty-four, passed December 22, 2021, at home in Bakersville, North Carolina.

Michael was born January 25, 1967, to Juanita and Jimmy Sparks in Woodstock, Virginia. In addition to his parents, both of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, Michael is survived by his wife, Michelle Davis Sparks; children Dakota, Tanner and Anthony Sparks all of Bakersville, North Carolina, and Sabrina Vogel (Ryan) of Stoughton, Wisconsin; siblings, Steve, Daryl and Billy Joe Sparks all of Spruce Pine, North Carolina, and Rhonda Greene (Chris) of Newland, North Carolina; and his granddaughter, Brooklyn Sparks of Bakersville, North Carolina.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Blue Ridge.
