Michael ''Mike'' Wilfred Ainsley

Michael ‘’Mike’’ Wilfred Ainsley, aged 62, of Brevard, NC, passed away February 20, 2024.

Mike was born March 20, 1961, in New Britain, CT, to Mary Rose Ainsley of Rothchild, WI and the late Robert P. Ainsley. He attended Lake Weir High School and received Associates in Mechanical Engineering. He worked with HVAC for 40 years, as well as Thyssen Krump Elevator Mechanic for 4 years, Roess Mechanical HVAC for 4 years, and College Walk-Mechanical Engineer for 4 years.  Mike was an avid sailor. He loved fishing, camping, and hiking. He loved fixing and repairing anything. He was a great tour guide and had a lot of knowledge of many things. Mike could build anything was a leader and was helpful with a kind, good heart.

In addition to his father, Mike is preceded in passing by his grandparents, Ernest LeDoux, Wilfred Ainsley, Norman LeDoux, and Bella Ainsley; and niece Danelle Ainsley.

Mike is survived by his wife of 16 years, Donna Ainsley; children, Emily Ainsley, Tyler Cook, Tanya Gobar, Denis Goodale, Ashley Single and Christina Bergie; sister, Karen (Rick) Duncan; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and 7 nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at a later date.

He was an Organ Donor and was able to save 5 lives.
