Mildred Lavonne Blackman

Mildred Lavonne Blackman, 92, of Hendersonville passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at The Greens of Hendersonville. Born in Hale, TX on August 15, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Gordon and Bertha Hanson. She was employed by Ingle’s Market for many years. In addition to her parents, she is preceded by a son, James J. Blackman IV. Surviving are her children, Janie Denise Blackman and Stephen Mark Blackman, both of Hendersonville, NC, and Stuart Kyle Hanson Blackman of Saluda, NC; grandchildren, Stephen M. Blackman, Jr, Carrie Sue Sweeney, Trisha Blackman, Jason Blackman, and Kadie Blackman; and 3 great-grandchildren. Her burial will take place in Plainview, TX.
