Millie Ann Stephens

Millie Ann Stephens, aged 81, of Brevard, NC, passed away February 5, 2024.

Millie was born August 11, 1944, in Brevard, NC, to the late Riley Elbert Johnson and Sylmantha Ellen Johnson. Millie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as Mamaw. She had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh. She made friends everywhere she went. Her hands were rarely still. She loved to cook, was highly skilled with knitting needles and crochet hooks, and enjoyed her weekly outings. Godly woman.

In addition to her parents, Millie is preceded in passing by her sisters, Rilla Onedia Nicholson and Mary Hilda Johnson.

Millis is survived by her children, Johnathon (Cathy) Owen, Christopher (Rhonda) Owen, Rebecca (Gary) Morgan, Terry (Jennifer) Owen and Tony Owen; siblings, Robert ‘’Bobby’’ Johnson and Linda (Ray) Mills; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

A service will be held at a later date.
