Monte Lee Morris

Monte Lee Morris, 79, of Leicester, NC, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Laurels of Summit Ridge. Born April 1, 1947 in Marion, IN and raised in Muncie, IN, he was a son of the late Arthur and Sophia Morris. He was a graduate of Yorktown High School in Yorktown, IN, and proudly served in the U.S. Army maintaining security in South Korea along the DMZ. Monte was a free spirit who enjoyed contra dance and conversation. Surviving are his siblings, Arthur E. Morris II of Muncie, IN, Gary Morris of Leicester, NC, and Jilia Morris of Chillicothe, OH. No formal services will be held at this time.
