Nancy C. Sprinkle

            Nancy C. Sprinkle of Asheville, North Carolina, passed January 12, 2023, at the age of eighty-nine. She was born December 5, 1933, to the late Lester and Dora Sprinkle in Whittier, North Carolina.

            Nancy graduated with Lee Edwards High School’s class of 1952. She was a member of Black Mountain Presbyterian Church and worked at Three Mountaineers and Buncombe County Tax office. She enjoyed reading, spending time with friends and traveling with Christian Tours.

            In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Hollis F. Sprinkle. She was a wonderful friend for eighty-five years to Doris Giezentanner Cole. They were closer than sisters for their lifetime.

            A memorial service will be held at Black Mountain Presbyterian Church in the Spring of 2023. Bob Tuttle will officiate.
