Neal David Roosa

Neal David Roosa, 84, of Franklin passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Born September 12, 1939 in Vestal, NY, he was a son of the late Hugh and Ina Roosa. Neal owned and operated his own pool company, Roosa Pools, in Bradenton, FL for 25 years before moving to North Carolina. Of his many enjoyments in life, working with horses, both training them and riding them, and spending time with his family were his favorites. He truly lived life his way. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Clayton Roosa; and two siblings, Gary and Judy Roosa. Surviving are his devoted spouse of 54 years, Geraldine F. Roosa; children, Rusty Roosa and his spouse, Lynn, of Bradenton, FL, Randy Roosa of Vestal, NY, Mark Roosa and his spouse, Denise, of Bradenton, FL, and Andrea Roosa of Sarasota, Fl; siblings, Charles Hugo Roosa and his spouse, Vivian of NY, and Dean Roosa and his spouse, Mary, of Syracuse, NY; granddaughter, Brittany Roosa of Bradenton, FL; and several nieces and nephews. No services will be held at this time.
