On Monday, November 16, 2020, Nicholas “Nick” D’Alleva, Jr., loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 57 at his residence in Asheville, North Carolina. Nick was born in Manhattan, NY to Nicholas and Dorothy D’Alleva. He earned a degree in film at Broward Community College in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and worked for many years in the film industry in the Miami, Florida area.
Nick enjoyed cooking, painting and sketching and also was a film enthusiast. Even after moving out of the New York area, Nick maintained his passion for the New York sports teams, particularly the Giants and the Yankees.
Nick is survived by his wife, Amy Elizabeth D’Alleva, his two sons, Mitchel Matthew D’Alleva and Elijah Thomas D’Alleva, his mother Dorothy D’Alleva, and his large, loving extended family made up of aunt, uncle, and cousins most of whom reside in the Tri-State area (New York, Connecticut, New Jersey).
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family. Interment will follow at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in Bronx, NY. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of their family and friends for the prayers, love and support during this difficult time.
