Nina Marie (Tweed) Honeycutt

Nina Marie Tweed Honeycutt, 81, a lifelong resident of Asheville, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on May 18, 2026. She was born on October 4, 1944, in Asheville, NC to the late Edward Lawrence Tweed and Mary Capps Tweed.

In addition to her parents, Nina was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roy Mace Honeycutt; her sister, Carolyn Cline; and her brothers, Kenneth Tweed and Michael Tweed.

Nina dedicated 50 years of service to Electric Supply Company, where she worked as head bookkeeper and office manager. In her recent years, she served on the Board of Elections. She found great joy and comfort in reading her Bible and deepening her relationship with the Lord. Nina cherished time spent with her grandchildren, loved watching game shows, and rarely missed an episode of Fox News.

Left to honor her memory are her children, Jason Honeycutt (Connie) of Nebo, NC, and Kimberly Honeycutt (Brian Singleton) of Hendersonville, NC; her sisters, Joyce Reep (Ron) of Forest City, NC, and Geraldine Nicholson (Danny) of Woodfin, NC; her grandchildren, Dalton Honeycutt (Kierstyn) of Morganton, NC, and Aaron Honeycutt of Nebo, NC; as well as many nieces and nephews; a future great granddaughter; and a special grandson, Grayson Singleton of Hendersonville, NC.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 PM on May 21, 2026, at Richland Baptist Church in Woodfin, NC. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM, with Reverend Steve Rhinehart and Reverend Ron Reep officiating.
