Noel Wesley Hensley

Noel Wesley Hensley, 68, of Waynesville, NC, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025. Born January 17, 1957, in Edmonds, WA, he was the son of the late Donald and Juanita Hensley. He retired in 2024 after a 25-year career with Hardee’s Restaurants LLC, serving as a manager. Noel enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. He was preceded in death by his spouse, Brenda Lee Hensley, and sister, Teresa Ann Owle. Surviving are his children, Crystal Young of Clyde, NC, James Hensley of Candler, NC, and Jeremy Hensley of Clyde, NC; siblings, Ella Dong and Scott Hensley, both of the state of Washington, Anita Cope of Sylva, NC, and Donald Hensley of Clyde, NC; and a grandchild, Jonathan Hensley. A memorial service will be held at Hyatt Creek Freewill Baptist Church, 50 Wyatts Lane, Waynesville, NC 28786, on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at 3 PM. The family will receive family and friends starting at 2 PM.
