Patricia (Bryson) Elliott

            Patricia Bryson Elliott of Waynesville, North Carolina, passed peacefully September 25, 2023. Born July 5, 1944, to the late Jack G. Bryson and Pauline Roberts in Murphy, North Carolina, Patricia was seventy-nine.

            Before moving to Waynesville, Patricia was a resident of Leicester, North Carolina. She spent much of her life as a homemaker and her true love was being a mother and grandmother. Patricia also enjoyed travelling with her family.

            In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her siblings, Marvin Bryson, Dennis Bryson, Max Bryson and Barbara Beaver.

            She is survived by her children, Michael Elliott (Cynthia) of Anderson, South Carolina; and Stacy Elliott of Orlando, Florida; brother, Steven Helton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and grandchildren, Bethany Tolleson (Wesley) of Lyman, South Carolina, Aaron Elliott (Sunny) of Norman, Oklahoma, Emma Elliott and Sawyer Elliott of Dexter, Michigan, Brynn Elliott and Madison Elliott of Jonesborough, Tennessee.

            A service will be held at two o’clock the afternoon of September 30, 2023, at Grace United Methodist Church (Leicester, North Carolina). Pastor Sandy Devoid will officiate.
