Patsy J. Jackson

            Patsy J. Jackson of Asheville, North Carolina, passed June 19, 2022. Born March 15, 1956, to the late Betty Callahan Jones and G. Samuel Jones in Asheville, she was sixty-six.

            Patsy graduated with North Buncombe High School’s class of 1974 and from Western Academy in 1986. She was a member of H.B. Ferguson Missionary Baptist Church. Patsy was self-employed, working with the United States Postal Service and Asheville Oil. She valued spending time with family and friends, and enjoyed opening her home to celebrate others. She loved being warm and sunny places.

            In addition to her parents, Patsy’s sister, Tanya Jones Bass, preceded her in death.

            She is survived by her husband of eleven years, Jackie Jackson; sisters, Donna Hensley (Billy) of Weaverville, North Carolina, and Sandra Parrish of Landrum, South Carolina; multiple cousins; four nieces and four nephews; three great-nephews and six great-nieces; and by her best friend, Kay Thorpe.
