Paul "Pops" Gary Stevens

Paul “Pops” Gary Stevens (79) passed away on January 6, 2026 in Asheville NC. Born September 11, 1946 in Princeton, New Jersey, he is survived by his wife Joyce Stevens, son Paul Stevens, daughter Heather Stevens and her spouse Michael Ward, and his grandchildren Cadence and Bryn. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force and Air Guard. He worked as a casino dealer in Atlantic City NJ for many years, followed by employment in hotel maintenance in Myrtle Beach and Charleston SC, and property maintenance in Asheville NC.

Pops was known for his great sense of humor and infectious laugh. He was an extraordinary bowler and billiards player and devoted Clemson Tigers football fan. His greatest joy was his beloved grandchildren.
