Peter Harris “Pete” Fayssoux, Jr., died unexpectedly January 18, 2021, at his home in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Pete was born July 31, 1968 in Greensboro, North Carolina. He graduated from A.C. Reynolds High School with the Class of 1986. Pete worked with Hearts with Hands, Coward Wholesale Flowers, and Mutual Distributing. He was a bartender at Crawdaddy’s and Crazy Zack’s in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Pete’s friends remember him for his great sense of humor. He was a die-hard Carolina Tarheels fan and an animal-lover. Pete loved to cook, and he loved music, especially Classic and Southern rock and Classic R & B. He enjoyed reading, camping and spending time on the river. He had a close relationship with his daughter Savannah Fayssoux, who was the love of his life.
Pete’s grandparents, Barbara Bielinski Fayssoux and Harry Fayssoux, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his parents Peter Fayssoux, Sr. and Kathy Wilde Fayssoux of Asheville, North Carolina; fiancé Sandi Banks, and daughter Savannah Fayssoux of Hendersonville, North Carolina; siblings Tracy Fayssoux Bodoh (Greg) of Clemmons, North Carolina, Kristin Fayssoux Sampson (Greg) of Canton, North Carolina, and Kent Ponder; and by a large loving family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A special mention to the Banks family and Jeffrey Rhodarmer .
With respect to COVID precautions, a memorial service will be held at a later time to be announced. The family wishes to thank Pete’s many friends for their outpouring of love and support.
