Ralph James Whittey

Ralph James Whittey, age 97, and a 32‑year resident of Hendersonville, NC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2026.

Ralph was born in Detroit, Michigan, on November 12, 1928, to the late Edward Ivan Dale Whittey and Mae Whittey. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

In addition to his parents, those who preceded Ralph in death include his beloved wife, Eva M. Whittey; his son, Terry J. Whittey; and his daughter, Sharon M. Whittey.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lori R. Whittey of Hendersonville, NC; his grandchildren, Mikayla Robins (Cody) of Troy, NC, Ariana Cunningham of Hendersonville, NC, Julian Whittey of Los Angeles, CA, and Terry Whittey of Bottineau, Montana; and his great‑grandson, Copper James Robins of Troy, NC.
