Randall McDade (“Randy”) Moore of Leicester, North Carolina, died Sunday, May 17, 2020, at Mission Memorial hospital. He was sixty-six.
Randy was born to Effie Mae McDade Evans and Robert Earl Moore in Greenville, South Carolina, on March 6, 1954. He served in the United States Army, and worked as a mechanic. Randy was a fisherman, enjoyed racing, and was interested in cars and guns.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, and by his sister, Donna Evans May.
Surviving are his two children, Justin Moore and his wife Monica of Garner, North Carolina, and Ashleigh Shipman and her husband Joseph of Fort Eustis, Virginia; grandchildren Nathan Moore, Kristian Moore and Kaleb Shipman of Fort Eustis, Virginia, and Zoe Moore and Mya Moore of Garner, North Carolina; niece Christen May of Asheville, North Carolina; great-niece Nadia May of Asheville, North Carolina, and great-nephew Jacob Chappell of Asheville, North Carolina; and his girlfriend, Beatrice “Lori” Watkins, and her children, Samantha and Michael Watkins.
Randy’s last wishes were for his ashes to be scattered in the ocean, and his children and grandchildren did so at sunset.
