Randy Earl Robinson

Randy Earl Robinson, 65, of Mars Hill, NC, peacefully passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at his home.

Randy was born on June 18, 1960, to the late Earl Robinson (1999) and Esther Robinson (2021). He is also preceded in death by his grandfather, Willie Burt Robinson; grandmother, Ruby Lee Robinson; brother, Kenneth Robinson; and mother-in-law, Carolyn Laws.

Randy attended North Buncombe High School. He later became employed by the City of Asheville as a Traffic Engineer. He also proudly served as a Deacon at Ponders Chapel for 30 years and attended church whenever he could. Randy loved fishing, hunting, attending church services, and spending time with his family.  

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 46 years, Susie Sims Robinson of Mars Hill, NC; son, Scotty Robinson of Mars Hill, NC; daughter, Natasha Robinson (Michael) of Woodfin, NC; brother, Ricky Robinson of Asheville, NC; grandchildren, Savannah (Jon) of Marshall, NC, Summer of Marshall, NC, Samuel of Marshall, NC, Lane of Woodfin, NC; great granddaughter, Ivey Wren of Marshall, NC; several nieces and nephews;  sister-in-law, Petey Sims of Weaverville, NC; brother-in-law, Doug Sims of Burnsville, NC; and beloved friend, Von Davis of Sevierville, TN.

A Visitation will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Ponders Chapel Church, 21 Rollins Rd., Marshall, NC 28753.  A Memorial Service will follow, starting at 2 PM. Charles English and Randy Roberts will be officiating. Randy will be laid to rest at the Robinson Family Cemetery at a later date.
