Ray Haley Obituary

Ray Thomas Haley, a man deeply devoted to his faith and family, passed away on May 21, 2024. Born September 7, 1941, to the late Charles Wesley and Minnie Janet Haley in Concord, he was eighty-two years old.

In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Haley, and sister, Betty Cauble.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Haley, to whom he was married fifty-four years; son, Rodney Thomas (Toni) of Fletcher, North Carolina; grandchildren, Bradley Scott (Hannah) of Grand Junction, Colorado, and Mary Elizabeth Hinkle (Erik) of Fletcher, North Carolina; and great-granddaughter, Lucia.

Throughout his life, he exemplified the significance of faith and the importance of cherishing family. Ray’s legacy is defined by his profound kindness and unwavering love. While his absence leaves a void, the memories we shared with him will forever be cherished.

In accordance with Ray’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Instead, he desired that we commemorate his life by reflecting on our faith, spending quality time with family and friends, and celebrating the moments we shared together. Let us honor his memory by embracing the values he held dear and continuing to spread compassion and love to others, just as he did.
