Us
I look in the fire
And watch the smoke
I told you I loved you
The last time we spoke.
I cry all night
Now that your gone
It breaks my heart
God called you home.
I think of our lives
And all we’ve done
Like dancing in the rain
And playing in the sun.
Sitting on the parkway
On the hood of the car
Looking at the sky
Counting shooting stars.
That little motel
We would sneak off to
And the way that you loved me
As only you could do.
I miss you my love
And the fun we had
I wish we could go back
I wish it so bad.
I’m glad I had you
For twenty-nine years
But now that you’re gone
I shed millions of tears.
Just remember I love you
And always will
This is for you
It’s how I feel.
I love you!!!
