Richard George Flake III

Richard George Flake III of Asheville, North Carolina, died April 28, 2025. Born February 14, 1985, to Richard G. Flake, Jr., and Cynthia D. Flake in Augusta, Georgia, he was forty years old. He previously lived in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and he loved working on cars. Richard was preceded in death by his grandpa, Richard G. Flake, Sr.; aunt, Beth McKenzie, and uncle, Joe McKenzie. He is survived by his parents, Richard G. Flake, Jr., now of North Carolina, and Cynthia D. Flake of Spartanburg, South Carolina; children, Dayton, Dallas, Ryker and R.J., all of North Carolina; sister, Margaret Elizabeth Flake (Donnie Bland) of Cowpen, South Carolina; brother, Troy Harvey (Ashley) of South Carolina; aunt, Lisa Croft of Washington State; cousins, Dawn Dill of Washington State, Arica McKenzie of Alaska; and many neices and nephews. Lil Ricky was a kind hearted person who would give the shirt off his back. He will be dearly missed. He could put a smile on anyone’s face. He was the life of the party.
