Obituary

Robert Sidney Beal, Jr., 79, of Hendersonville, NC, went to walk on the streets of Glory and to meet his Lord and Saviour on Monday, May 30th.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sidney Beal, Sr. and Bessie Sue Davis Beal; his first wife, Brenda Callahan Beal; son, Brian Keith Beal; and brother, Ted Roger Beal, and sister, Dolores Beal Cope.

Left to cherish his memory, he leaves behind  his wife, Rita Beal; sons, Robert Sidney Beal III (Sandy), John Timothy Beal (Brenda Whitmire), and Noah Brian Beal; grandchildren,  Charles Beal (Morgan), John  Beal (Miranda) Phillip Beal, Patrick Harrison (Hannah),  Reuben Maxwell, Autumn Lindsey and Susan Anderson; and 6 great- grandchildren, Brittan, Modi, Tristan, Ava Grace, Jameson and Lucky Jack, all whom he cherished; nieces, Christy  Darnall (Alton) and Suzanne Diehl (John), and nephews, TR Beal and Tommy Whisnant (Celeste); and a host of dear friends and his Family from Lumberton that he loved dearly. He touched so many lives and shared the gospel with those around him. He loved the Lord and wanted those he was around to know the Joy and Peace of making heaven their final destination.

A memorial service is planned for Saturday, June 4th at 1pm at Jones Gap Baptist Church (8 Mount Hebron Road – if using GPS, put in ‘Finley Cove Road’) in Hendersonville.  Reverend Curtis Pace will be officiating the Memorial Service.
