Robert William Glenn

Robert William “Bill” Glenn, aged 86, of Arden, NC, passed May 2, 2023 in Asheville, NC.

Bill was born July 31, 1936, in Asheville, NC, to the late JD Glenn and Stella Glenn. He served in the United States Air Force and worked as a Safety Engineer. Bill was a member of Valley Springs Lion Club and a Deacon at Arden Presbyterian Church. He was a lover of the Lord, his family, the church and life in general. Bill never knew a stranger and could talk about anything; it seemed he knew much about everything!

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Alice Brotherton.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Saundra ‘’Sandy’’ Glenn; sons, Tommy Glenn (Cyndi) and PJ Glenn (Shannon); 10 grandchildren, Megan, Aimee, Riley, Trevor, Parker, Reagan, Abbey, Michael, Mason, and Kelsey; and 3 great-grandchildren, Zander, Timberly and Nora Kate.

A Memorial Service will be held May 12, 2023, at Arden Presbyterian Church. Family will receive family and friends at 2 pm, followed by a service at 3 pm. Reverend’s Ken Crabb and James Buckner will be officiating.
