Robert Lewis “Bob” Lunsford of Burnsville, North Carolina, died Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Mission Hospital after a long, hard battle with cancer. He was 65.

Bob was born January 19, 1955, to the late Katherine and Troy Lunsford. He graduated from Reynolds High School.

Bob is survived by his wife, Michelle Dickenson; and by his children, Jennifer Robinson (David) of Marion, North Carolina, Josh Lunsford (Shannon) of Black Mountain, North Carolina, Jonathan Lunsford of Asheville, North Carolina, and step-children Tabitha and Kim Riddle, both of Burnsville, North Carolina.

A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at a later date following the COVID-19 pandemic. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Sheba Baptist Church (870 New Stock Road in Weaverville, North Carolina).
