Roberta Ann (Burgess) Cauble, seventy-nine-year-resident of Asheville, North Carolina, passed September 14, 2023. Born May 7, 1936, to the late Harley and Alma Moore Burgess in Transylvania County, North Carolina, Roberta was eighty-seven years old.

Roberta is survived by her children, Alfred Layfayette “Butch” Cauble, Jr., of Mars Hill, North Carolina, Frank Edward “Eddie” Cauble of Asheville, and Christopher Steven “Chris” Cauble of Wilmington, North Carolina; grandchildren, Amanda, Christy, Anna, Ashley and Frank; and great-grandchildren, Alexxis, Kiley, Logan, Neveah, Jordan and Nolan.
