Roger Brooks Obituary

Roger Eugene Brooks, 69, of Swannanoa, passed away Monday, September 7, 2020, at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center. Born on November 10, 1950, in Buncombe County where he lived all of his life. Roger was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Brooks Roberts, grandmother, Lucy Hollifield, nephew Ricky Roberts, and niece Angela Deaver. Roger is survived by his sisters Gail Brooks, Lucille Ward (Jimmy), Glenda Deaver, Marie Case (Mark), Susie Roberts, brothers Bobby, William, and David Roberts (Darlene), and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at 2 pm at the Ashelawn Gardens of Memory Cemetery with the Rev. Phillip Parker officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at the John F. Keever Jr. Solace Center for their excellent and compassionate care for Roger and the entire family.
